Captain Panaka

Qui-Gon‚
Obi-Wan‚ and Anakin head off to the Jedi Temple. Panaka is left with
the
Queen to find Senator Palpatine’s chambers. As Captain Panaka‚ you are
to protect the Queen and help her find her way. Through the level‚ be
careful
and save often; the Queen’s AI has a lot of bugs.

|
As
you start the level‚ there’s a blaster immediately to your left. Grab
it
and head up and left the the edge of the platfor and grap the repeating
blaster. Then head back to where you started and follow the Senate
guard
to your Air Taxi.

You are ambushed
by a Hover Cannon. It will destroy the Air Taxi and kill the Senate
guard.
It’s possible to save both the guard and the Air Taxi‚ but you can’t
use
the taxi. The guard may help kill attackers on this platform‚ but
that’s
all.

|
Initially, you
will be greeted by three thugs. Take them out and head to the opposite
side of the platform.
|

|
Talk
to
the robot and take a ride to the Tourist Center.
|
|
Enter the Tourist Center and head left.
|
|
|
|
|
Government
Bureaucrat.
|
|
|
|
If
you tell this man you were attacked and ask him to call the guards‚ he
will give you a bureaucratic answer and refuse to help you. Feel free
to
kill him. Nothing will happen.
|
|
|
Hover Cannon.
|
|
Head outside and deal with
the Hover
Cannon..
|

|
|
To get onto the
city tour, you need a ticket. Off to the right you find a guy looking
to
sell some tickets. Since you have no money, turn and head to the
opposite
side of the platform and talk to the fellow there.
|
|
He
will
buy your binoculars for 100 credits. Use those credits to buy your
tickets.
|
| |
|
|
Of
course‚ if you’re feeling lazy‚ you can just kill them both. For each
guy
you kill‚ three thugs will appear on the opposite side of the platform.
|
|
Incidentally‚
if you see the three thugs locked in this formation (above‚ right)
restart
the level now because you will not be able to finish the level.
|

|
|
Three
thugs will greet you when you walk back inside. Don’t miss the full
health
pack. Continue on to the next room.
|
|
Give
the droid your tickets and head through the doors. You don’t actually
need
the tickets‚ you can just destroy the droid and the doors will open. On
the other side‚ a Hover Cannon will destroy the tour bus and attack the
Queen. Deal with it.

|

|
|
You
can save the tour bus‚ but‚ again‚ it will do you no good. Head right
and
jump down the platform..
|

|
|

Pull
this box aside and drag it over so you can jump onto the platform.
There
is also a secret door behind the box.
