Just outside the city‚
you are
greeted by Darth Maul’s probe droids. A good tip here is to Force push
them and hit them while they’re stunned.

You’re
about the face Darth Maul‚ so consider destroying these boulders.
Otherwise
he’ll throw them at you during the fight. Anakin is off in the distance.

Tip - 8.01.

Large Med Pack.
There’s
a full health pack in this land speeder‚ but if you go after it during
the fight Maul will break off his attack and send in his probe droids.

Darth Maul

|
Darth
Maul appears‚ blocking the path with boulders. You’ll need to knock his
health down by half before he’ll retreat.
|
|
|
|
The
easiest way the beat Maul is probably the jump and slash technique.
Remember
your defensive moves.
|
|
He’ll
run off and disappear when his health gets to the halfway point.
|

|
When
Maul’s gone‚ you’ll need to push aside this boulder and follow Anakin.
Now would be an excellent time to save your game.
|
|
Maul
appears again– with full health. Your objective here is just to prevent
him from destroying the T-14 long enough for them to get it on board.
There
are two health packs‚ but if you wander off to grab them‚ you’ll lose
the
T-14 and/or Padmé (who cares about Anakin). If you need the
health‚
you’ll have to try and lead Maul over to them. Fortunately it’s not too
tough to do. If he’s giving you a beating‚ try more defense and less
offense.
The goal is only to delay him.

Tip - 8.02.
You
don’t actually have to fight Maul in this first part. If you move the
boulder
aside to follow Anakin‚ Maul will step aside and you can go through
without
a fight.

There are two
med packs by
the Queen’s ship.
|
|
|
|
|
You’re
not supposed to be able to‚ but Maul can be defeated here. The best way
to beat him in to put away the lightsaber and use something with more
firepower.
You’re on a timer here and you have to kill him before the ship takes
off.
When he’s almost dead‚ he’ll run in a big circle and then evaporate
into
thin air. To kill him‚ you have to take out the last bit of his life
before
he gets a chance to evaporate. It’s tough (but not impossible) to do
this
with your lightsaber.

When
the ship takes off‚ Qui-Gon jumps in regardless of what Maul’s doing.
There
are also three sandpeople off in the corner‚ but unless you’re good you
won’t be able to get over there without losing the game.
