You don’t need to fight these droids‚
just follow after the Queen. You can fight them if you want; it’s fun
fighting
all those droids.

Interesting Glitch

If you do fight the droids‚ watch out for
this invisible
hole in the ground.
|
|
|
|
|
Just don’t stray too far to the right
or the Queen will be killed. You can go almost as far as the tank‚ but
that’s about it.
|
The droids come in waves‚ so if you’re good
you can
take them all out without too much trouble.
|
|
|
|
|
It is possible to destroy this tank with
your lightsaber‚
but it is quite difficult. For one thing‚ it’s hard to get that close.
For another it wasn’t really designed to be desroyed. But if you’re
like
me‚ you’ll want to destroy it just because it’s there.
|
|
If you’re having trouble destroying the
tank‚ you
can also try using a little more heat.
|
|
|
|
|
Don’t miss the destroyer droid lurking
behind the
tank (above‚ left).
|
|
While you rain destruction down on the Trade
Federation‚
the Queen waits patiently for you to return (above‚ left).
|

This is about as far as you can go without
the Queen
getting killed (above‚ left).
|
|
Once you’re done with the droids‚ return to
where
the Queen waits for you.
|

|
|
Head into the palace courtyard‚ there are
two droids
waiting. You’re going to need your lightsaber.

Push this statue aside so the Queen can
follow (above‚
left). Up the stairs you discover that the switch to the door has been
blasted. A battle droids waits for you on the balcony. You can take
care
of it with a simply Force push.
|
|
Jump accross to the balcony‚ then head in
the window
to open the door from the inside. Tip: Do not open the door
right
away. The Queen will come through and wait while you take care of a
whole
mess of droids‚ but eventually another droid will reappear and attack
when
you are not there. If you wait to open the door‚ the Queen will not be
attacked while you deal with the road ahead.

Grab the goodies in the room and continue
on. The
two civiliams that appear just down the stairs are very stupid and
extremely
difficult to save. You needn’t bother trying. They deserve it for
running
head long into an mass of battle droids.

This is where you first emerge (above‚
left). Head
straight and to the left‚ then jump up into this room (above‚ right).
More
droids appear when you walk back out again. As you jump down‚ head into
the first room on your left.
