If you’re quick you can destroy the
probe droid. You weren’t really expected to do this‚ so it won’t
actually
blow up. Instead‚ it just sits there. The bad guys from the previous
level
are not all bad here (above‚ right) so you don’t need to kill them.
Cross through the mountain and you find a
Jawa sandcrawler
that’s been ransacked by Tuskan Raiders. One waits for you out front.
Off to the left
of the Arena entrance (to the right as you leave)‚ there’s a group of
thugs
waiting for you (above). They will attack when you get too close‚ so
don’t
be shy with the lightsaber. Take the path to their left and cross to
the
other side of the mountain
Jump up and head inside where more sand
people await
you.
Push your way through this guy and get a
small health
pack.

Small Health Pack
This droid will follow you if you free him
(above‚
right)‚ but it achieves no purpose and it’s really
slow.
| |
Blaster
Behind this door (above‚ left) is an R-2
unit and
a blaster. Follow the R-2 unit out of the sandcrawler.
Stay close to the droid so you can protect
it from
the Tuskan Raider. A simple Force push is all it takes here.
Flash Grenades
Grab the grenades and head back to the Arena
entrance
to talk to Ann Gella. Get her to take you to Jabba the Hutt.
She takes you to here (above). |
Sometimes there is a gun here (above‚ left).
Continue
on.
Hit this switch and you stumble down... |
...into Jabba’s little prison. He says he
will give
you money to fight his champion. You have to fight whether you agree to
or not.
Like most fights in the game, the jump and
slash is
generally the most effective way to fight Jabba’s Champion. It does
more
damage and it hits you less frequently.
Don’t be shy about keeping your distance. He
will
throw spikes at you‚ but these can be avoided. Partway through the
fight
(if it takes long enough), Jabba throws down a small health pack.
